SEVEN
KEY LINKS TO HELP YOU IN YOUR DIVORCE CASE
Over
a hundred useful links from a Moreno Valley divorce attorney. If
you have any comments or suggestions on how to improve this web site
please call and let me know at (951) 247-1977 or E-Mail me at BlaisAtty@yahoo.com.
Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.
Why don't you add this
site as a "favorites" or link on your own web site? If you can
find a better links section for any family law attorney in the Inland Empire
please let me know.
IN THE BELOW,
WE MAY NOT BE TOTALLY CURRENT. WE MAKE EVERY
EFFORT TO DO SO, BUT THE LAW AND OTHER INFORMATION IS SO FAST CHANGING THAT WE CANNOT GUARANTEE
THE ACCURACY OF EVERYTHING BELOW.
If
you know anyone with family law questions please mention this site to
them. If your case is in the Inland Empire
of Southern California please
call for a free consultation at 951-247-1977. Thank you. www.BlaisAtty.com.
You might use control + F to find key words for your search. The icon for
this is usually a binoculars on the toolbar.
In all the below you are usually able to get governmental agency materials
into evidence more easily than information from private companies. The
courts are more likely to grant judicial notice to information from
governmental web sites.
This links section has a huge amount of
information. Just for starters we suggest you see the following sections:
1. Section 1 is
for court records in Riverside and San
Bernardino. You can track your case from these sites. Keep up on what is
happening in your case. You also might want to be sure your current spouse had a final
dissolution of marriage decree before you married that person or to be
sure a future spouse is really fully divorced. Section 24 is for Los
Angeles County court records.
2. Section 19 on values of cars and other vehicles. This is
important because in the division of property we need to know the value of
all the property.
3.Section 26 on imputed income if your spouse is not working
or you feel could be making more. See what others in that field are able
to earn.
4. Section 30 on the value of your home. You can get comps
immediately over the internet on what homes of a similar type are selling
for in your area.
5. Section 51, 52 and 53 on what realty your spouse may own that
you have no knowledge of. Also look at relatives of your
spouse. The other party may have put in the relatives name.
6. Section 60 is for getting a free credit report from
Experian, Equifax or TransUnion. It is a help to know your true
debts.
7. Before calling the attorney for a consultation first make
sure that the "attorney" is really a California Licensed
Attorney. Some people say that they are attorneys and are not. See Section
4 on links.
There is something else you might do if you are still in the
same house as your spouse. Take photos of each room. Stand in one corner
and take a photo. Do this to all four corners of each room in the home.
Take photos of the cars, outside of the home, garage and even the
bathroom. There are two reasons for this. One is in case things start to
disappear you will have a photographic inventory of the entire house
contents. The second reason is that in negotiation for division of
household items we can be sure we are all talking of the same item. It is
so there will be no misunderstanding as to who is getting which lamp in
the living room, etc.
The above is just on a few highlights. Please review this links
section. There may be other information that may help your case. By you
doing the work you are helping the attorney and yourself.
